How many bags of rose petals will I need?
This really depends on how you are planning to use the petals.
Each bag of our rose petals contains approximately the petals from 3 standard roses or three handfuls.
If a flower girl is scattering the petals down the aisle, consider the length of the aisle and whether she will be scattering continuously or using just a few handfuls. Remember that a child’s handful is as a general guide, is generally smaller than an adult’s.
If the petals will be placed into cones for guests to throw, you will need to consider how many handfuls will fit into each cone and how many guests will be participating.
There is no exact number of bags that suits every situation or wedding, as it depends on how generously the petals are being scattered or thrown.
